Commitment and passion for outstanding photography

Behind the Camera

I'm Stephen Nushann  the person behind Nushann Lens. It started in a high school photography class, and I was hooked immediately. I saved up for my first camera and haven't put it down since. I've been shooting for over a year now, and I've been lucky enough to learn the real ins and outs from an established photographer, John Walsh, who's been showing me the ropes along the way. What I care about most is telling a story with every photo — capturing the moments you'll actually want to look back on and smile, the ones worth remembering.

My Style: Real, Not Staged

My approach is simple I want every photo to tell a story you'll actually want to look back on and smile at. I'm not chasing stiff, overly posed shots; I'm chasing the real moment, the candid laugh, the energy of the day as it actually happened. Learning under John Walsh has sharpened my eye for light, composition, and timing, but the heart of my style hasn't changed: capture life the way you'll want to remember it.

One Lens, Many Moments

No two shoots look the same, and I like it that way. One week it's a grad session on campus, the next it's a game-day portrait, a formal, or a studio shoot with a friend and a bold outfit. I also love slowing down for quieter frames, like a pier at dusk or a golden-hour skyline. Whatever the occasion, I'm looking for the picture that feels like the day itself, not a template.

Where I'm Headed

I'm early in this, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I do have is a camera I worked hard for, a mentor who pushes me to get better, and a calendar I'm filling one session at a time. My goal is simple: to be the photographer people think of first when something big is coming up. Every shoot I take on right now is a chance to earn that spot.
